Almost everything runs in Europe, through our privacy gateway. Nobody trains on your data. A few models and features outside the EU, such as well-known American AI models, are off by default; you only switch them on if you want to. What runs where?

Your own API key: if you already have a key with an AI provider, enter it in the chat and pay that provider yourself; nothing is deducted from your AIDG credit. A European provider is available; providers outside the EU are clearly marked as sending your data outside the EU, and using them is your own choice. AIDG keeps updating the platform with new models, skills and features.
A chat window gives answers. The app picks up the work: with your files where they are, your Office documents and the programs you already use. And it keeps going while you do something else.
Point at a folder and ask. Hundreds of documents are searched on your own computer, scans and photos included, with a reference to the source.

Yes. Many people use AIDG at home: to understand a letter, plan a trip, write a text or sort out their finances. You start for free with €2.50 credit and are not tied to anything.

No. The chat works in any browser and on your phone. You need the app to work with files on your own computer and to let the chat operate your computer.
No. That only works once you link the app to your chat account yourself, with a code or QR code shown only on your own screen. After that the app asks for your go-ahead per action, a bar is always visible while it is being operated remotely, and one button stops it. You can unlink at any time.
Viewing, clicking and typing do not: a locked screen stays locked. Jobs you hand to the app do keep running in the background. If you do not want your computer to go to sleep while it is being operated, turn on “Keep awake while operating”.
